Mission Statement
The East St. Louis Fire Department is dedicated to the saving of life and property through training and education. Our members pledge to provide the highest standards of fire prevention, fire protection, code administration and hazard mitigation to the community of East St. Louis in the most cost effective manner. We will continue the long tradition of honor, bravery and compassion for life as established by professional firefighters internationally. We will proudly follow in the tradition of uplifting the image of the City of East St. Louis.
