BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT GRANT APPLICATION PACKET
The City of East St. Louis is launching its Business Development Grant Program to help new business owners get started and grow within the city! This program offers conditional grants to support entrepreneurs who aim to create jobs, boost the local economy, and contribute to community growth. 📅 Program Opens: October 14, 2024, at 8:30 AM 📍 Where to Apply: Pick up applications at 301 River Park Drive or download them from the city’s website at www.cesl.us 📅 Application Deadline: November 14, 2024, at 4:00 PM Eligible businesses will receive grants under a 5-year owner-occupancy requirement. All applicants must ensure the project uses licensed contractors, and funding must come from an acceptable source. 50/50 Grant Rehab Program Application Packet
City of East St. Louis 50/50 Rehab Program 🏡 The City of East St. Louis 50/50 Rehab Program offers conditional grants to help eligible homeowners cover 50% of home repair costs. Key highlights include: • Eligibility: Homeowners must own and reside in East St. Louis, be current on property taxes, have lived in their home for at least three years, and have matching funds. • Ineligible Projects: The program does not cover the removal of hazardous materials, detached structures, or landscaping. • Funding: Grants range from $2,500 to $25,000, with a requirement that homeowners remain in the property for at least five years. • Application: Applications are available at City Hall or online, with a submission deadline of November 14, 2024. • Approval: Applications are subject to review by staff and City Council approval.
